The Italian Association of Physical Geography and Geomorphology (AIGeo), the Geomorphological Society of Croatia (YGC), and the Geomorphological Society of Slovenia are continuing preparations for the II European Young Geomorphologists Meeting (II EYGM), which will take place across Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia from 25 to 27 June 2026.

The event aims to strengthen international relationships and promote cooperation among young geomorphologists by fostering scientific exchange, the sharing of research experiences through traditional presentations and field-based activities, and the development of a strong international network of early-career researchers in the field of physical geography and geomorphology.

The meeting will bring together Master’s and PhD students, as well as post-doctoral researchers working in the fields of physical geography and geomorphology. The programme includes scientific sessions, oral and poster presentations, and field activities across different geomorphological contexts in Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy.

The first day of the meeting will take place in Ogulin, Croatia, with the welcome of participants, introductory lectures, scientific presentations, a poster session, and an excursion in Ogulin and the surrounding area. The following days will be dedicated to field-based activities in Gorski Kotar, the Škocjan Caves, Lazaret Bay, Debeli Rtič, and Savudrija, before returning to Trieste.

Participants are invited to carefully consult the updated information on programme, logistics, venues, accommodation, and presentation guidelines:
