Crossing Southern Italy: a travelling meeting from Taranto to Siracusa

This meeting will cover all IGCP related science:
sea level, climate change, tectonics, earthquakes, tsunami, coastal inundation.
This is a joint meeting with INQUA project CMP1701P “Late Quaternary record of coastal
inundation due to earth surface deformation, tsunami and storms”, CMP1601P “HOLSEA”
and CMP1603P “MOPP-MEDFLOOD”
Meeting Schedule
16th September – Arrival in Bari/Brindisi airport or Taranto train station. Ice Breaker in Taranto.
17th and 18th September – Scientific Session, Taranto University
19th September – Field Trip (overnight stay in Sibari)
20th September – Field Trip (overnight stay in Reggio Calabria)
21st September – Field Trip (overnight stay in Siracusa)
22nd September – Field Trip (overnight stay in Catania)
23rd September – Depart to Catania airport
